As many academic the first job after the exam was hard to find. My solution to was to contact the principal of the Tornedalens Folkhögskola. Education

After many years as a diary worker I decided to change my life and start to study. My main subject was human rights witch I specialised to international labour law. My master thesis described the connection between collective agreements and human rights. I got well connected to organizational theory, recruitment strategies and the structure of the national and international labour market during my courses in labour science and international relations.


PPS Step 1 deals with basic project management skills. In order to become a successful project manager, it is important to have the capacity to lay stable foundations through good project preparation.
It is similarly important to deploy and communicate project concepts, targets and plans to all those involved, both within and outside the project. Participants learn how to plan, manage and follow up on the work within the project in a dynamic manner such that they can follow the plans and deal with all the change requirements that arise during the process. After the course, participants have access to basic documents, templates and checklists that were used.

Ledarskap handlar om att leda andra människor för att uppnå organisationens mål. En av förutsättningarna för att klara uppgiften som ledare är en förståelse för hur grupper utvecklas och hur medlemmarna samverkar inom gruppen och med andra grupper utanför organisationen. Ytterliggare en förutsättning är att kommunicera mål och krav till medarbetare, beställare och andra intressenter. Olika målbilder, grupputveckling och individuella olikheter skapar en dynamik som kräver att ledaren har en förståelse för sin egen roll, retorik, kommunikation, konflikthantering och ledarskap i olika situationer. Momentet avser att ge den studerande verktyg för att reflektera över sin egen ledarstil, samt utveckla en förståelse för de kritiska situationer som en ledare måste hantera.


Kursen syftar till att ge kunskaper i centrala teoribildningar och grundläggande metodik för beslutsfattande, riskbedömning och policyutformning. Normativ, deskriptiv och preskriptiv beslutsteori behandlas. Vidare presenteras kognitiva aspekter på beslutsfattande och riskbedömning, och etiska och juridiska perspektiv diskuteras. Rationell utformning av beslutsunderlag, bl.a. genom visualisering, tas också upp.


Kursen behandlar ett projekts olika faser, det vill säga målformulering, start, styrning och avslut. För målformuleringsfasen behandlas uppgiftsdefinition, ekonomi och tidsplanering. För projektgenomförandet behandlas organisering, ledningsarbete, projektstyrning och projektuppföljning. Områden som ekonomi, förhandlingsteknik, mötesteknik, kvalitetsverktyg och presentationsteknik berörs under kursen.
